AMD Phenom II

AMD hops on the consumer 45nm bandwagon with Phenom II. The new chip is a quad-core family of desktop processor running up to 3GHz with up to 8mb of on-board cache.

But with the performance gap difference when compared to Intel Core i7 and take the price of Phenom II chips in consideration, AMD is having another hard time!

Palm Nova

The Palm New-ness that I posted earlier is actually a new Palm OS with the codename Nova. Palm is expecting to launch their latest smartphone running Nova this week at the CES conference in Las Vegas.

HP Mini 2140

This model is an upgrade to the previously launched HP Mini 2133. The 2133 has some complaint for user on the Via Processor is lack of power, so this time HP will be using an Atom chip in the 2140. HP also include a 10" LED Backlit 16:9 Screen (1366 x 768). All these spec fit under the 2133 case!

Macworld without Job

This will be the final Macworld keynote for Apple. Phil Schiller will be the man delivering keynotes this time as Steve Job is suffering from hormone imbalance. So will the new Mac mini / iPhone nano appears in the show??
