Sony Ericsson Joins Android Camp

Sony Ericsson today announced its membership of the Open Handset Alliance, and confirmed that the company is planning on developing an Android-based handset.

Unlocked G1 at $399


Now, developers can get a fully SIM-unlocked T-Mobile G1 with unlocked bootloader that allows flashing of custom Android builds. The device known as Android Dev Phone 1 will be available to all developers registered at the Android Market from 18 international markets.

The Android Dev Phone 1 currently costs $399 with free shipping within the States. To own one of this device, the developer have to register at the Android Market, which will set you back a one-time registration fee of $25.

Nokia unveils their new flagship phone, N97. The N97 packs a 3.5" touchscreen display with 640 x 360 pixel and a slide out QWERTY keyboard. The phone will be running on Symbian S60 5th Edition OS. Since this is the flagship phone, the spec can't runaway from having 32GB onboard memory with microSD expansion, 5mp camera with Carl Zeiss lens, HSDPA, WiFi & A-GPS.
